2010.03.09 even though the plan was to get the wall up, instead we just did more cleaning. me and P set up some windows using the top floor ones, so now the 3rd floor has all the windows covered except the little tops. the pigeons are also learning how to fly, so i expect them to leave soon and we can close everything up (and end this pigeon thing). mr. galp showed up. apparently he's not connected to anything, just likes to hang around and knows a lot about the surroundings. so the building is going down because of the TGV, and the neighbors are illegal. Ma went over and tried to convince them to let us pull electricity, but he couldn't. so we're good. also got the sewing machine working, and hope to get at least one room done tomorrow. water was an issue, as apparently someone tried to steal the contraption we set up for the hydrant. Ma and O caught them in the act, which was fortunate. it also means that water ended up being disconnected again. we plugged it in today to hose down the floors (one of them ended up looking more like a swimming pool). the bottom floor is clean too, and S may have found the right room for his studio. it will be close to the bar area. Ma is excited about the house and wants to build a kitchen and living room for himself on the top floor. this clashes a bit with our plans to use the top floor for workshops / performances / exhibits. we'll see how this one works out i also got a solar shack light to light the place during the night. seems to be working out fine tomorrow, rooms, hopefully
