# 012 a third of a wall

From: starstuffharvestingstarlight <joao@hipercubo.net> Date: 2010-03-11 11:53:22 Title: a third of a wall

we're falling a bit behind on our expected schedule. anyway, a bunch of holes and a fake third of wall is up. besides that L, S and A did a lot of cleaning in the bottom floor, got a squat toilet and a lot of tires for the bed. T finished the sewing so we can set up the first fabric room, once we do the right holes. i've been having some issues with the drill (it's battery powered), the concrete is very hard and seems to have metal plates after some depth, which means that some things might have to be nailed in instead of screwed in. i also got a proper wrench for the hose connectors and the hydrant. they are all really nicely fastened in and now it's going to be much harder to take them out. the hydrant is leaking since the pressure damaged some of the threads. we're using a very big reduction on the hydrant, which puts a lot of pressure in the connection (it's a 50% reduction). we're using that pressure these days to wash the floors and soon the bottom bar/studio area. it was a big mess.
