the hydrant is now all covered up and it's hard to notice that there's a hose coming out. the hose is now connected through the back of the building to the shower area. a lot of birds in the morning, almost too many! also, the door now keeps the dogs in the wood room. besides this, i tried to get electricity from one of the posts, but got nothing. i think the post is disconnected. by my expectations, i'd say we're slowing down, but i still expect to have at least solar-charged light by the end of the month. all we need now is a charge controller and a deep cycle battery. both are somewhat expensive, but i'd say worth it. once we get light going and can charge our electronics, life will be back to normal. kind of. besides that, the Romanian neighbor came over, apparently he's a nice guy, and checked out our legal warning. he lives in the big building down the road. S is really sick and has been admitted to surgery. L has been with him, and both have been away for maybe a week now. we can get a 3G connection going in the building, which means we can setup a big wifi network for the whole building. i've been in contact with the post office, and soon we might have an official address!
