we've been having a lot of visitors lately, some unintended. so the kids from nearby are regulars now, dropping by very often to hang out.

S caught some guy stealing paint from downstairs. they jumped through the window, so last night we took extra time to reinforce most of the outside. it still needs a lot of work, but for now it's much better. we think that they were there only to steal paint to do graffiti.

also, as usual, the police showed up this morning. despite our efforts to let them know about the project, there was little interest in the information we provide. we guess it's mostly because it is a high crime area, with a lot of shit going on all the time, and our building would be a safe harbor for criminals. well, it isn't, and in fact we are just as worried about the stuff going on. so we're pretty much settling on the thought of having police over every other week.

we also had a big brawl last night between one of the couples. i'm very much used to this now, and don't think the fights will end anytime soon, so i proposed an arena for fights. whenever shit like this comes up, we just put people in some fighting ring and let them work it out. at the house and outside it's too dangerous, as there is a lot of broken glass and debris all over the place.

the residents are now more interested in completing one of the bars/stage. it'll be easy, and since i'm on holidays next week. i'm glad people are starting to notice our diminishing rhythm.
